DR ‹ › Morocco has reached a new record in frozen strawberry exports to the United States in 2025. The kingdom exported 7,900 tons worth $19 million between January and October, according to EastFruit, marking a 22% year-on-year increase and exceeding the previous record set in 2019 by 15%. The United States, the world's largest importer of frozen strawberries, accounted for 17.3% of Morocco's total exports during the period, making it the kingdom's top market. Shipments peaked between May and August, with a record 2,500 tons exported in June 2025 alone. While Mexico remains the main U.S. supplier, its exports have declined due to climate-related issues and anti-dumping tariffs introduced in March 2025. As a result, U.S. buyers have diversified their sourcing, allowing Morocco to achieve record sales in the American market.
