This includes checking the vehicle's mechanical condition—such as the battery, brakes, lights, tire pressure, windshield wipers, washer fluid, fuel level, and heating system. The ministry also urges motorists to remain particularly vigilant on road sections vulnerable to flooding, especially low-lying areas and crossings over wadis and streams, to avoid attempting to cross flooded fords during high water levels, refrain from speeding or making sudden maneuvers, and maintain safe distances between vehicles. Furthermore, road users are reminded to comply with traffic signs and follow instructions issued by local authorities and on-site road patrols from the ministry's regional services, in order to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow.
