DR ‹ › The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance (DGSN-DGST), Abdellatif Hammouchi, is paying a working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from February 8 to 12, accompanied by a high-level security delegation. The visit comes at the official invitation of His Excellency Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Al-Howairini, Head of State Security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to attend the third edition of the World Defense Show, currently being held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, according to a statement from the DGSN-DGST hub. The trip provides an opportunity to explore future prospects for global integration in the fields of security and defense by examining the latest technological developments showcased at the event. Discussions also focus on key advanced programs and applications made available to security and defense institutions, with the aim of strengthening global security and stability, the statement added. On the sidelines of field visits at the World Defense Show, the Director General of the DGSN and DGST held bilateral talks with Saudi security officials on ways to further develop cooperation in the areas of security and intelligence, as well as mechanisms for mutual technical assistance. The visit reflects the growing importance the DGSN-DGST attaches to modernization and innovation in the security field as essential tools for addressing emerging challenges and anticipating future security threats.
