DR ‹ › Morocco unveiled its pavilion at the International Agricultural Show in Paris, France, on Sunday, marking the event that runs from February 21 to March 1, 2026. The official inauguration of this 300 m² space was led by Ahmed El Bouari, the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests, alongside Samira Sitaïl, Morocco's ambassador to France. With the theme «Morocco, Centuries of Flavors», the Moroccan exhibit showcases «30 producer groups representing 46 cooperatives and over 740 small farmers, 61% of whom are rural women, from across the Kingdom», according to a statement. This pavilion offers a journey through the rich variety of local products, featuring «argan oil, Taliouine saffron, Majhoul dates, olive oil, carob, aromatic and medicinal plants, and spices», the statement adds. This marks Morocco's thirteenth consecutive participation in the SIA, with the goal of «expanding international market opportunities for Moroccan local products». On the sidelines of the show, Ahmed El Bouari held a meeting with his French counterpart, Annie Genevard, Minister of Agriculture, Agri-Food, and Food Sovereignty. Both ministers expressed their commitment to enhancing the implementation of sector-specific roadmaps, focusing on areas such as livestock farming, training, sanitary and phytosanitary cooperation, and agricultural water management.
