The arrest took place shortly after his arrival on a flight from Portugal. A check of the Interpol database revealed that he was the subject of a Red Notice issued at the request of the National Central Bureau in Tunisia, on suspicion of involvement in a criminal network engaged in forgery, fraud, and car theft. The suspect has been placed under extradition procedures following instructions from the competent public prosecutor. Meanwhile, the Interpol National Central Bureau in Rabat, operating under the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), has been tasked with notifying its Tunisian counterpart of the arrest as part of the extradition process.
