DR ‹ › French actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, best known for her role in Emily in Paris, is preparing her producing debut with a new action-thriller set and filmed in Morocco, in which she will also appear on screen. The untitled project is currently in development and will be produced through her company Mariri Productions, alongside Eleonore Dailly and Edouard de Lachomette for Autopilot, as well as Nicolas Derouet of ND et Fils, who will oversee casting, according to Hollywood and media news outlet Deadline. The film is written by screenwriter Sam Boyer, winner of the 2022 Academy Nicholl Fellowship, and filming is scheduled to take place in Morocco this fall. Plot details remain under wraps. Known for her role as Sylvie Grateau in the Netflix series Emily in Paris, Leroy-Beaulieu plans to focus her producing work on internationally oriented stories centered on strong and mature female characters.
