DR ‹ › The German city of Düsseldorf, capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, recently hosted the International Forum of Moroccan Students and Graduates in Germany, held under the theme «Moroccan-German Cooperation in the Fields of Science and Economy: Towards a New Generation of Moroccan Competencies in Germany». Organized by the Association of Moroccan Students and Graduates in Germany, the forum took place in partnership with the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) and the department in charge of Moroccans Residing Abroad within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad. It brought together more than 200 Moroccan professionals based in Germany, in the presence of Boutaina Bouabid, Consul General of Morocco in Düsseldorf, Driss El Yazami, President of the CCME, Marwan Berrada from the department of Moroccans Residing Abroad, as well as representatives from several institutions, including the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST), and Tamwilcom. Participants took part in discussions and presentations exploring opportunities for scientific and economic cooperation between Morocco and Germany, along with prospects for Moroccan talent in fast-evolving sectors such as scientific research, the digital economy, and artificial intelligence. According to the organizers, the forum is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen ties between Moroccan professionals in Germany, national institutions, and civil society actors, with the aim of fostering sustainable scientific, cultural, and economic partnerships between the two countries.
