The case had initially raised concern after the family of Rachel Kerr, a 31-year-old Scottish influencer, reported her disappearance and appealed for information, saying her phone was switched off and expressing fears for her safety. In a statement issued on Wednesday, April 29, Agadir police said they had launched an investigation after receiving a report on April 27 that the tourist had left her hotel and could not be reached. She was later located in an apartment in the city. Authorities confirmed that she had left the hotel voluntarily, had not been subjected to any assault or threat, and is continuing her stay in Morocco under normal conditions while remaining in contact with her brother.
