Achraf Hakimi, Sofyan Amrabat, and a host of other Moroccan internationals have been lifting trophies with their clubs, bringing joy to Moroccan and international fans alike. International Moroccan footballers are making Morocco proud with victories across European, Asian and African championships. On Saturday, Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat emerged victorious with his club Manchester United in the Football Association Challenge Cup, also known as the FA Cup, a prestigious knockout competition in English football. The Red Devils triumphed at Wembley Stadium, scoring 2-1 after half an hour of play against their city rivals, Man City. Moving to Asia, Moroccan international Soufiane Rahimi led his team Al Ain FC to AFC Champions League glory, defeating Yokohama Marinos FC of Japan 5-1 in the second leg of the final on Saturday evening at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. Rahimi shone throughout the match, scoring the opening goal for Al Ain in the eighth minute.
