The national police in Melilla have arrested seven individuals as part of an operation targeting the violation of foreign citizens' rights, document forgery, and involvement in a criminal organization, according to local media sources. This operation was spearheaded by the Central Unit for Immigration Networks and Document Forgery, a specialized division within the police force. A police spokesperson detailed that the arrested individuals face charges of violating foreign citizens' rights, document forgery, and criminal organization membership. The group is accused of facilitating the irregular migration of Moroccan nationals by providing them with fraudulent employment contracts as domestic workers. As part of the operation, law enforcement conducted two raids and searched two residences. The police also confiscated 30,000 euros in cash, highlighting the extensive criminal activities of the network. The Spanish national police have reiterated their commitment to combating illegal immigration and crimes associated with document forgery, emphasizing these issues as a top priority.
