Morocco and Kazakhstan announced on Friday in Rabat the upcoming implementation of the Visa Exemption Agreement for holders of ordinary passports. During the visit of Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at the invitation of Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, the two ministers «welcomed the implementation, on March 19, 2025, of the Visa Exemption Agreement for holders of national passports». This agreement was signed by the two ministers on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 26, 2024. The implementation of this agreement reflects the spirit of friendship and the excellent relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Kazakhstan, in line with the directives of the two Heads of State, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This agreement aims to promote tourism cooperation, strengthen interpersonal and intercultural ties between the two countries, and boost trade exchanges.
