The capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, will host the Moroccan Caftan Festival, "Manoir du Caftan," on the 26th of this month. This event invites the public on a journey through time with this traditional attire. According to the organizers, the festival will feature prominent international designers and figures from the world of culture and art. It aims to showcase the beauty and elegance of the caftan, which reflects the refinement of authentic Moroccan traditional craftsmanship. During this event, marked by the participation of singer Diana Haddad and Moroccan artist Douzi, the audience will be treated to caftan fashion shows. These will illustrate the beauty of Morocco's rich and diverse heritage, characterized by its vibrant colors and ornaments, thus demonstrating the authenticity of this traditional garment. This festival, which includes Moroccan, Arab, and international artistic personalities, seeks to be a bridge between Moroccan art and international culture. It also serves as an opportunity to highlight the creativity of Moroccan designers, particularly in the field of authentic Moroccan embroidery, symbolizing the cultural richness and diversity of Morocco. The Moroccan Caftan Festival, organized by the Azzahrae Association for Art and Culture, will also pay tribute to inspiring figures in the fields of creativity, traditional arts, and craftsmanship, thereby reinforcing the role of the Moroccan caftan as a cultural heritage.
