Morocco's tourism sector maintained its strong momentum in July 2025, welcoming 2.7 million visitors, a 6% increase compared to July 2024. This growth included both international tourists and Moroccans living abroad, underscoring Morocco's enduring appeal. According to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism, the number of foreign tourists reached 875,000, up 2% year-on-year, while arrivals from the Moroccan diaspora rose by 7%, reaching 1.8 million. These figures confirm the sector's continued recovery and growth. By the end of July 2025, Morocco had recorded approximately 11.6 million tourist arrivals, a 16% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Moroccans residing abroad accounted for 52% of the total. Commenting on the latest figures, Fatima Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, and the Social and Solidarity Economy, said: «Morocco is not only a destination for discovery, it is also a place that holds a deep emotional connection for millions of tourists worldwide. This continued growth is driven by domestic tourism, our diaspora, and international visitors alike».
