Yesterday, Italian police captured one of the suspects involved in a brazen assault on a Moroccan tourist outside a hotel in Naples. The attack, marked by its audacity, targeted a luxury wristwatch worth 80,000 euros. As reported by Italian media, the victim, a businessman visiting Naples with his family and business associates, was ambushed by two masked gunmen on a motorcycle just as he was preparing to leave the hotel. In a desperate attempt to escape, he sought refuge in the hotel's reception area. However, the assailants pursued him into the lobby, where they struck him on the head with a gun. Amid the chaos, a shot was fired, embedding a bullet in the ceiling and sending plaster debris raining down on guests and staff. The thieves made off with the watch, leaving the Moroccan businessman injured. He was promptly taken to the hospital, treated, and discharged with a medical report advising five days of rest. In the aftermath, forensic teams and public safety officers swiftly began gathering witness accounts and scrutinizing surveillance footage. Their efforts led to the swift identification and arrest of one of the attackers, while the hunt for his accomplice continues.
