Morocco's National Airports Authority (ONDA) has launched a major digital transformation program to modernize and secure its airport network, aiming to make Moroccan airports «smart, agile, and resilient platforms» prepared for future technological and security challenges. The plan focuses on three main areas: a complete overhaul of cybersecurity strategy across all IT and operational systems, the digitalization and integration of data governance processes to improve real-time decision-making, and the enhancement of the passenger experience through digital tools designed to streamline journeys and personalize services, ONDA said Wednesday in a press release. As part of this transformation, ONDA has announced the recruitment of a new Chief Information Officer, tasked with leading its IT and digital strategy. The position targets experienced engineers or IT specialists with strong expertise in managing complex information systems. Through this initiative, ONDA seeks to position Morocco's airports as models of innovation and operational excellence, reinforcing its role as a driving force in the modernization of the national aviation sector ahead of major global air transport events.
