The Moroccan Under-17 football team was defeated by their Japanese counterparts, 2-0, on Monday at Aspire Zone in Doha, during the first day of Group B in the U17 World Cup, which runs until November 27, 2025, in Qatar. The two goals of the match were scored by Taiga Seguchi (57th minute) and Daigo Hirashima (90th+8). The other match in this group will see New Caledonia face off against Portugal tonight. On the second day, scheduled for next Thursday at 1:30 PM, Morocco will take on Portugal, before going head-to-head with New Caledonia on the 9th of this month at 2:30 PM on the third and final day of the group stage.
