The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is making a strong impression at the World Travel Market (WTM), which opened on Tuesday, November 4 in London. Spanning 900 m², the Morocco pavilion brings together the ONMT, the National Tourism Confederation (CNT), regional and professional federations, Royal Air Maroc, and private operators, with Agadir and Marrakech as guest regions. As one of the world's leading tourism fairs, WTM welcomes over 35,000 professionals, 5,000 exhibitors, and 180 countries, offering Morocco a prime platform to strengthen its visibility among British travelers and expand partnerships. The ONMT aims to attract 995,465 passengers for summer 2025 and winter 2025/26, a 9% annual increase, through closer collaboration with major British tour operators and online agencies. The UK is now Morocco's third-largest tourism source market, with 938,440 arrivals and 2.9 million overnight stays recorded by the end of August 2025. Eight airlines, including RAM, Ryanair, EasyJet, British Airways, TUI Airways, Jet2.com, Wizz Air, and Air Arabia, connect 12 UK airports to 8 Moroccan destinations, providing a capacity of 1.9 million seats, up 8% year-on-year. With British travel confidence at record levels, Morocco positions itself as a trusted and authentic destination. Its strong, unified presence at WTM London reaffirms the Kingdom's status as a strategic partner for the UK market and highlights its commitment to sustainable, inclusive tourism growth.
