A maintenance worker tragically died on Wednesday morning after falling from the facade of the Grand Tangier Stadium while carrying out technical work ahead of the upcoming friendly match between Morocco and Mozambique, scheduled for Friday. According to local sources, the 25-year-old victim lost his balance while performing his duties and fell from a high section of the stadium, sustaining fatal head injuries. He died instantly at the scene. Security services and local authorities quickly arrived to inspect the site and launched an investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor to determine the circumstances of the accident. The victim's body was taken to the morgue at Duke de Tovar Hospital in Tangier.
