As part of the 2025 national campaign «We Will Not Remain Silent on Violence», the National Human Rights Council has launched a series of video testimonies inspired by real cases documented both online and offline. The initiative highlights the different forms of digital or technology-facilitated violence targeting women and girls, as well as the groups most affected by it—female journalists, migrants, politicians, students, content creators, businesswomen, and women with disabilities. In a statement, the Council explained that the campaign spans 16 days of awareness and education, featuring 16 videos and testimonies that shed light on the manifestations and consequences of digital violence. The Council's president described this phenomenon as a «silent pandemic» that threatens not only women and girls, but society as a whole. The campaign also includes awareness videos using unconventional formats, motion design and AI-generated characters, published across the Council's social media platforms. Other components include a national conference on technology-facilitated violence, the country's first human-rights-themed light show (mapping), and three public exhibitions in Rabat (Riyadh Boulevard, Mohammed V Avenue in front of Parliament, and Rabat Agdal train station). All materials include sign-language interpretation. The Council has also launched a national caravan that toured 12 regions, starting in Dakhla and reaching Al Hoceima on December 9, with its final stop scheduled for Wednesday in Kenitra. This forms part of the «16 Days, 12 Regions, 12 Cities» program, designed to engage directly with citizens about digital threats and their impact on the rights of women and girls.
