DR DR DR ‹ › Rabat opened the new Rabat Riad station this Monday, December 15, the National Railway Office (ONCF) announced. This next-generation station complements Rabat's railway network, alongside Rabat Agdal and Rabat Ville stations. Located in the Hay Riad district, just steps from the iconic Moulay Abdellah Stadium, the new station was designed to meet the highest international standards, according to ONCF. Built on a surface area of 35,000 m², it creates a strategic connection between two main plazas: to the east, it opens onto Annakhil Avenue; to the west, it links to Hassan II Avenue and the Moulay Abdellah Stadium. Opened just days ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), this major infrastructure project is part of the broader transformation launched under the «Rabat, City of Lights» program and supports the capital's ongoing urban development, ONCF said in its statement.
