DR ‹ › Moroccan football star Achraf Hakimi has teamed up with contemporary artist and photographer Hassan Hajjaj to launch Juj, a pop-up café and concept store in the heart of Casablanca's Maarif district. Opened on December 14, just days ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the space blends Hajjaj's signature pop aesthetic, bright colors, bold patterns, and everyday objects, with a tribute to Moroccan street-food culture. The venue recreates scenes inspired by Moroccan street vendors while offering visitors a place to drink tea, play checkers, enjoy quick bites, and browse art and merchandise. The opening drew several Moroccan stars, including Draganov, Morad, Stormy, Yassine Bono, and Azzedine Ounahi. Designed as a temporary cultural hub, Juj presents itself as «a space where tradition and modernity coexist» and a meeting point for Moroccan youth during AFCON.
