The highly anticipated fifth edition of Street Art Inside is set to unfold at HIBA_Lab in Rabat from September 26 to October 26, 2025. This vibrant event will bring together eight Moroccan visual and street artists, marking another milestone in the cultural calendar. Spearheaded by the Hiba Foundation, the event is preceded by an artistic residency from September 22 to 26, designed to foster collaboration and creativity among participants. This annual gathering not only connects professionals but also shines a spotlight on artists' works, offering dedicated spaces for their creations. The grand opening is slated for September 26. Organizers emphasize that the event's primary goal is to «highlight the work of independent artists and encourage sometimes unexpected artistic crossovers». Since its inception in 2021, when it featured «a mural artistic intervention on the stairs of HIBA_Lab», Street Art Inside has evolved into a cornerstone of the local contemporary art scene. This year, it unites eight artists who blend their talents and expertise to create something truly unique. Participants are invited to transform their creations into mural frescoes and canvases, promising a rich tapestry of art thanks to their diverse and distinctive backgrounds. The lineup includes Ayoub Lyaacoubi (Acoby), Wiam Azhar, Hassan Faiz, Mohammed Mahdioui (Nyctossoul), Oussama Moussaoui (Masawi), Aicha Abouhaj, Fadel Mabrouki (Ibouyen), and Ahmed Souhail (AXO). Over its previous four editions, Street Art Inside has showcased the talents of 28 artists, both renowned and emerging, effectively blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces for an art form traditionally associated with the streets. More than a mere exhibition, it has become a vibrant hub for interaction and experimentation, welcoming artists of all levels. For visitors, it offers a unique opportunity to engage with, learn about, and immerse themselves in urban art. It's a refreshing platform for both established contemporary creators and rising stars in the art world.
