DR ‹ › French tourism leaders have praised the organization of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 in Morocco, saying the country once again «confirms its ability to host major sporting events and turn them into powerful drivers of tourism appeal», according to the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT). Invited by the organizers, Christian Mantei, President of Atout France, and Patrice Caradec, President of SETO, highlighted «the quality of the organization and the comprehensive strategy shaping Morocco's tourism experience». Quoted in an ONMT statement, Mantei said that «Morocco has demonstrated its ability to organize international events at the highest level». «Everything is smooth, clear, and well managed. Behind this success, one can sense a strong strategic vision led by the ONMT, aimed at turning each major event into a lasting tourism asset», he added. The ONMT, for its part, pointed to Morocco's «solid infrastructure, proven logistics, and strong culture of hospitality». Also quoted by the same source, Caradec emphasized the immediate impact of the tournament on the tourism sector. «For tour operators, an event like this acts as a confidence accelerator. It shows that the destination is dynamic and thriving», he said. Both tourism figures agreed that AFCON 2025 goes well beyond the sporting dimension, serving as «a full-scale showcase of Moroccan expertise in infrastructure, logistics, security, and hospitality».
