This initiative aims to spotlight a modern, dynamic Morocco, fully equipped to host major international sporting events. «The ONMT is taking this unique opportunity to welcome key figures in global tourism: travel influencers, professional associations, tour operators, and leading journalists from the United States, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy, and Belgium», the Office announced in a press release. The itinerary promises an immersive experience, granting access to matches to soak in the electrifying stadium atmosphere, showcasing the top-notch infrastructure, and offering a taste of the diverse tourist experiences the country provides, according to the same source. These selected countries are strategic markets for Morocco as a tourist destination. With significant potential for tourism development, they are pivotal in attracting high-spending visitors and boosting the kingdom's international profile. By directly engaging influencers and journalists on the ground, this initiative transforms their experience into a powerful channel of influence. The CAN thus becomes a vibrant showcase for Morocco, where sport, culture, tourism, and infrastructure are primed to welcome the world. This initiative complements the ONMT's broader strategy for the CAN, which includes roadshows in Africa and Europe, enhanced airline offerings, additional flights for the event, and the simultaneous broadcast of the signature film «Morocco, Land of Football» in twelve countries and within Morocco. The press release also highlights that in April 2025, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and the ONMT signed an agreement to position Morocco as a leading player in both the football and tourism sectors by 2030.
