In a statement, police said no death was recorded among private security personnel or ball boys, and no deceased body linked to sports-related unrest was reported. The information was verified through checks with relevant health institutions, reads a press release by DGSN. Describing the claims as misleading and unfounded, the national security services said judicial authorities have been notified and that judicial investigations may be opened to identify those responsible for spreading the false information and to determine legal accountability.
