AP ‹ › Royal Air Maroc has announced the cancellation of all flights to and from Doha and Dubai scheduled for March 3 due to the closure of airspace in both destinations. In a statement shared on X on Monday, the airline said it remains fully mobilized and is closely monitoring developments to ensure a safe resumption of operations once conditions allow. It also warned that, amid the ongoing closure of certain Middle Eastern airspaces, additional flights may be affected. To minimize disruption, Royal Air Maroc is offering flexible rebooking options to impacted passengers, who are encouraged to contact the call center or their original point of sale. Travelers are strongly advised to check their flight status and update their contact details via the «Manage My Booking» section on the airline's website to receive real-time notifications, and not to go to the airport unless they have been informed or rebooked. Military escalation in the Middle East has triggered a wave of flight cancellations, airport closures, and partial airspace shutdowns, after Israel and the United States carried out coordinated strikes on multiple sites in Iran on February 28. The strikes prompted Tehran to retaliate with hundreds of drones and ballistic missiles targeting Israel as well as U.S. military bases across Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
