DR ‹ › Morocco's General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has forecast snowfall starting at elevations of 1,400 meters, expected from Tuesday through Wednesday in several regions of the country. In an orange-level weather alert, the agency said snowfall between 20 and 40 cm is expected in the provinces of Azilal, Beni Mellal, Ifrane, Midelt, and Boulemane. Snow accumulations of 10 to 20 cm are also forecast in the provinces of Al Haouz, Taza, Chefchaouen, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Figuig, Khénifra, Sefrou, Al Hoceima, and Guercif. The snowfall is expected to begin at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday and continue until 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the DGM.
