DR ‹ › From Tuesday to Thursday, several provinces in Morocco will experience snowfall, cold temperatures, and heavy rain, as forecasted by the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). The DGM has issued an orange-level weather alert, predicting snowfall of 10 to 20 cm at elevations starting from 1,400 meters. This will impact the provinces of Ifrane, Khénifra, Midelt, Boulemane, Sefrou, Guercif, and Taza, from Tuesday at 11:00 AM until Wednesday at 6:00 AM. During the same timeframe, the provinces of Azilal, Béni Mellal, and Tinghir are expected to receive snowfall between 5 and 10 cm. Additionally, cold weather is anticipated, with temperatures plunging between -09 and -04°C on Tuesday and Wednesday in the provinces of Tinghir, Al Haouz, Midelt, Boulemane, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, Azilal, Béni Mellal, and Ifrane. Meanwhile, temperatures ranging from -03 to 00°C are expected in the provinces of Figuig, Khénifra, Chichaoua, Sefrou, Taza, and Guercif during the same period. Furthermore, heavy rainfall, measuring between 40 and 50 mm, is forecasted for the provinces of Larache, Al Hoceïma, Tetouan, Mdiq-Fnideq, Chefchaouen, Fahs-Anjra, Tanger-Assilah, Ouezzane, and Taounate from Wednesday at 1:00 PM to Thursday at 9:00 AM. The provinces of Sefrou, Ifrane, Taza, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Khénifra, and Midelt will also experience heavy rain from Wednesday at 9:00 PM to Thursday at 11:00 PM.
