DR ‹ › The Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat has been awarded the prestigious title of «Stadium of the Year 2025» in its 16th edition by StadiumDB.com. Eligible stadiums for this accolade must boast a seating capacity of over 15,000 and have either opened or undergone a complete renovation in 2025. The winners are chosen through a public voting process, where participants rank their top five stadiums, awarding five points to their favorite and one point to their fifth choice. The voting period lasted until March 9, 2026, with each device permitted a single vote. This year, the list featured 28 stadiums, including five from Morocco. The Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium clinched the top spot with an impressive 14,481 points. It was followed by the Grand Stadium of Tangier, which garnered 10,453 points. Moulay Hassan Stadium secured fifth place with 8,092 points, Al Madina Stadium came in seventh with 6,543 points, and the Olympic Stadium in Rabat finished ninth with 4,954 points. The competition also highlighted three other African stadiums: Libya's Benghazi Stadium, which ranked 15th; Hoima City Stadium in Uganda, a venue for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations 2027, which placed 18th; and Chad's Olympic Stadium, which came in 20th.
