DR ‹ › Cash Plus has unveiled an innovative mobile payment service utilizing QR Code technology, designed to streamline everyday transactions and advance the digital transformation of local commerce in Morocco. In a press release, the company highlighted that this service empowers merchants to seamlessly accept payments via smartphones using the Cash Plus Mobile app, eliminating the need for specialized banking payment devices. Since its rollout in January 2026, the service has been adopted by over 12,000 local merchants from various regions across the kingdom. This includes small shop owners, cafes, and service providers, all of whom can now embrace digital payments with ease and speed. Cash Plus underscored that this initiative is aimed at broadening access to digital payment solutions and boosting financial inclusion, particularly for local merchants. This effort leverages a robust network comprising more than 5,200 agencies and over two million payment account users throughout Morocco.
