DR ‹ › Thunderstorms with locally heavy showers and strong gusts of wind accompanied by dust storms are expected on Wednesday and Thursday in several provinces of Morocco, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). Heavy thunderstorms, with rainfall amounts between 20-30 mm, are anticipated on Thursday from 1:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the provinces of Tata, Inzegane-Ait Melloul, Chichaoua, Essaouira, Safi, Taroudant, and Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, as specified by the DGM in an orange-level weather alert bulletin. Additionally, strong gusts of wind with dust storms, reaching speeds of 75 to 85 km/h, will affect the provinces of Essaouira, Chichaoua, and Al Haouz on Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The same weather phenomenon, with wind speeds ranging from 85 to 95 km/h, is expected on Thursday from 2:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the provinces of Chichaoua, Al Haouz, Midelt, Azilal, and Ouarzazate, concludes the DGM.
