DR ‹ › Wydad Casablanca announced on Monday that they have amicably parted ways with their head coach, Mohamed Amine Benhachem. In an official statement, the Casablanca club informed its supporters and members that the decision to conclude Benhachem's tenure as head coach of the first team was reached by mutual consent. The WAC extended its heartfelt gratitude to Mohamed Amine Benhachem for his dedication and the contributions he made while leading the Red and Whites. Benhachem took the reins at WAC after replacing South African coach Rulani Mokwena. He notably guided the team during the Club World Cup, competing alongside the three-time African champions. In the Botola Pro D1 «Inwi», WAC currently holds 2nd place with 29 points, trailing their rivals Raja Casablanca by just one point but with three games in hand. In the CAF Cup, the Red and Whites were eliminated at the quarter-final stage following an all-Moroccan showdown against Olympic Safi.
