DR ‹ › Royal Air Maroc (RAM) launched a new direct flight between Brussels and Tetouan on Friday, marking a significant step in strengthening air connectivity between Morocco and Belgium. The inaugural flight, operated twice weekly (on Mondays and Fridays), departed from Brussels Airport (Zaventem) at 12:15 p.m. and arrived at Tetouan–Sania R'mel Airport. The new route is expected to enhance connectivity to Morocco's northern region and boost its tourism and economic appeal. To mark the occasion, a reception was held in the boarding area at Brussels Airport, attended by members of the Moroccan community in Belgium as well as Belgian passengers. The ceremony brought together RAM representatives in Belgium, Morocco's ambassador to Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Mohamed Ameur, and officials from Brussels Airport. RAM's regional director for the Benelux, Mohamed Issam Mosseddaq, told MAP that the new route strengthens the airline's network in the region and complements existing connections from Brussels to Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Nador, and Tangier. Ahead of the launch, RAM rolled out a month-long promotional campaign, including targeted advertising in metro stations near neighborhoods with a strong Moroccan community presence, visuals on Brussels trams, and radio spots.
