The 57-year-old actress remains hospitalized and has been placed in an induced coma, with her condition described as critical. According to preliminary information reported by Le Parisien, she may have suffered a sudden cardiac event. This hypothesis is supported by her medical history, as she previously experienced a ruptured arterial aneurysm and underwent several heart surgeries. At the time of the incident, Nadia Fares was swimming with fins and a kickboard before suddenly abandoning them and submerging for unknown reasons. She was discovered motionless at the bottom of the pool by another swimmer after spending an estimated three to four minutes underwater.
