Hilton ‹ › Hilton has announced plans to open 15 new hotels across Morocco, bringing its total portfolio in the kingdom to 25 properties in the coming years. The projects, spanning ten brands, are expected to create more than 2,000 local jobs and further boost Morocco's appeal as a tourism destination, the company said in a press release. The latest agreements include the launch of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Morocco, alongside the continued expansion of brands such as Curio Collection, DoubleTree and Hilton Garden Inn. The announcement follows the recent opening of Waldorf Astoria RabatSalé, the luxury brand's first hotel in Morocco, located in the Mohammed VI Tower. Hilton CEO Chris Nassetta described Morocco as a «strategically important market», citing strong growth potential driven by rising visitor numbers and opportunities in both established and emerging destinations. Planned projects include Tapestry Collection hotels in Casablanca and Chefchaouen, expected by 2028, a Curio Collection property in Marrakech by 2029, and new coastal developments in Nador and Tetouan. Hilton currently operates 12 hotels in Morocco, with the new pipeline set to accelerate its expansion across the luxury, upscale and mid-scale segments.
