DR ‹ › Moroccan international and Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi will be sidelined for around two and a half to three weeks following the injury he sustained during Tuesday's Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich. According to tests carried out on Wednesday, Hakimi suffered a hamstring tear and will miss the second leg of the semi-final, RMC Sport reported. The injury occurred late in PSG's 5-4 first-leg win, when Hakimi went down in the 89th minute after a duel, clutching the back of his thigh. With no substitutions remaining, he stayed on the pitch until the final whistle. He had already shown signs of discomfort in previous days but still started the match and provided an assist for Ousmane Dembélé. The news is reassuring for Morocco, as the injury is not expected to affect his participation in the 2026 World Cup.
