Maroc Telecom takes a significant step forward in making ultra-high-speed internet more accessible. Subscribers received a text message announcing that, starting April 20, 2025, the speeds for fiber optic (FTTH) plans will be upgraded to the next tier, at no additional cost. This initiative comes amid a market transformation, marked by the opening of fiber infrastructure for nationwide sharing. The upgrade effectively doubles the speeds, with the 100 Mb/s plan increasing to 200 Mb/s and the 200 Mb/s plan jumping to 1 Gb/s. These changes are being implemented without any price adjustments until April 30. Many subscribers have already noticed a tangible improvement in their connection speeds, indicating the gradual rollout of this technical upgrade throughout the kingdom. Starting May 1, Maroc Telecom will introduce new pricing for its fiber offers. The updated plans will be as follows: • 100 Mb/s at 400 DH/month • 200 Mb/s at 500 DH/month • 1 Gb/s at 1,000 DH/month All these plans will now include unlimited calls to national landlines, as well as a few hours of calls to mobiles. This enhancement is designed to enrich the customer experience while supporting the growth of ultra-high-speed connectivity in Morocco.
