Chinese automotive supplier Bethel has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Morocco as part of its global expansion strategy. The new entity, Wuhu Bethel Morocco Automotive Safety Systems Co., Ltd., will focus on the production and sale of automotive components. The company confirmed on Monday that it has secured all necessary registrations, with a total project investment of $75 million (679 million dirhams), according to the Shanghai Metals Market. Founded in 2004, Bethel specializes in automotive chassis and advanced driving systems and is ranked among China's top 100 auto parts suppliers. It operates 17 manufacturing bases across China and Mexico, as well as seven R&D centers worldwide, and supplies major automakers including Tesla, Toyota, General Motors, and Volkswagen.
