King Mohammed VI will deliver a speech on Tuesday evening to mark the 26th anniversary of his accession to the throne, according to a statement from the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol, and Chancellery. The royal address will be broadcast on national radio and television on Tuesday, starting at 9:00 p.m. The King will also preside over the official Throne Day ceremonies on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday afternoon, he will chair a reception at the prefecture square in M'diq-Fnideq, in the city of M'diq. On Thursday afternoon, the King will oversee the oath-taking ceremony at the Mechouar square of the Royal Palace in Tétouan. This ceremony will involve newly graduated officers from various military, paramilitary, and civilian academies and institutes. As part of the celebrations, and on royal instructions, the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces will host a luncheon at the Officers' Mess of the Royal Guard in Tétouan. Later that same afternoon, the King will also preside over the Bay'ah (allegiance) ceremony at the Mechouar square of the Royal Palace in Tétouan.
