The Moroccan Blood Agency and its affiliated centers have affirmed that the current blood stock levels are stable and reassuring, and that donation operations are proceeding normally across all regions of the kingdom. In a statement issued in response to media reports about an alleged «summer blood shortage», the Agency clarified that Morocco is not currently facing any imminent risk of blood supply depletion. It attributed this stability to growing public awareness and a strong response to donation campaigns, which continue to meet urgent medical needs. On this occasion, the Agency commended the spirit of solidarity and civic engagement shown by civil society organizations and citizens who regularly respond to calls for humanitarian action, particularly during peak periods at blood transfusion centers. The Agency further assured that the blood and blood product needs of both public and private hospitals are being met on a regular and daily basis, thanks to precise and ongoing coordination between regional blood centers and healthcare facilities throughout the country. While reaffirming the stability of current reserves, the Agency renewed its call for citizens to donate blood regularly. It stressed that the need for blood is not seasonal or occasional, but a constant necessity to help save the lives of children, pregnant women, cancer patients, and accident victims. The Agency concluded by emphasizing that donating blood is a life-saving act and a collective responsibility.
