Morocco will host the third edition of RallyClassics Africa from September 12 to 17, 2025, with a route that winds through Erfoud and Merzouga, crossing the famous Erg Chebbi dunes. Covering 1,000 kilometers of desert terrain, the rally blends timed regularity sections with demanding navigation, offering participants ideal preparation for major events such as the Dakar Classic and the Africa Eco Race. This year's rally brings together 42 teams from ten countries across three continents. The Moroccan circuit will be contested over five stages in legendary off-road vehicles, including the Seat Toledo Marathon, Porsche 959, Mitsubishi Pajero, and Toyota Land Cruiser, along with SSVs and SUVs specially adapted for the desert. Only cars built before 2005 are eligible for the overall classification, maintaining the event's spirit of classic rallying. Among the standout entries this year is the Seat Toledo Marathon, driven by Antonio Rius and Carles Jiménez, as well as the Toyota Land Cruisers of the TH-Trucks team, led by Jan Rosa, winner of both the Dakar Classic and RallyClassics Africa 2024. With experienced crews like R-Team and Pedregà Team joining the line-up, and more than a third of participants competing for the first time, the 2025 edition promises a mix of tradition, competition, and new energy on Morocco's desert tracks.
