Locally heavy thunderstorms accompanied by strong wind gusts are expected on Monday in several provinces of the Kingdom, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has announced. According to an orange-level weather alert, rainfall of 25 to 35 mm is forecast between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. in the provinces of Aousserd, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Khénifra, Oued Ed-Dahab, Boujdour, and Assa-Zag. The provinces of Es-Semara, Khouribga, Al Haouz, Taroudant, Ifrane, Boulemane, and Laayoune are also expected to be affected.
