Luanda, the capital of Angola, is preparing to host the 7th African Union–European Union Summit on November 24 and 25. As with previous editions, it is highly likely that the Polisario Front will be invited by the organizers. Delegations from the Front have already taken part in preparatory meetings for the event, including the EU–AU foreign ministers' conference held in Brussels on May 21 and the ministerial meeting on African agricultural development organized in Rome on June 28. The Polisario also joined the July 18 videoconference ahead of the ninth session of the AU–EU high-level dialogue on science, technology, and innovation policy, scheduled for October in Brussels. More recently, the movement participated in the AU–CARICOM summit held last week in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. By contrast, the Polisario was excluded from the 17th U.S.–Africa Business Summit, held from June 22 to 25 in Angola, despite the country's recognition of the so-called «Sahrawi Republic».
