Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), praised Morocco's «comprehensive approach» to football development, an approach now bearing fruit with the U20 World Cup victory in Chile. Following the Atlas Cubs' historic win over Argentina (2–0), Lekjaa highlighted King Mohammed VI's long-term vision and the decision to invest heavily in youth training through the Mohammed VI Football Academy. Speaking after the final, he stressed that Morocco's recent football achievements stem from «purely Moroccan expertise», including U20 coach Mohamed Ouahbi and his technical staff. Ouahbi echoed this sentiment, noting that football in Morocco has become «a driver of effort and self-belief» that transcends sport itself. Lekjaa also recalled the Kingdom's growing success story, from the senior national team's historic 2022 World Cup semi-final run to this new U20 title, as proof of Morocco's upward trajectory. He dedicated the victory to King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan people, and all Arab and African nations who share in the pride.
