DR ‹ › The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) announced that it appeared before the Disciplinary Jury of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The hearing followed reports submitted by match officials, as well as objections filed by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) after the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) hosted in Morocco. According to the FSF, the Senegalese delegation was led by its Secretary General, accompanied by its legal adviser, Seydou Diagne. National team coach Pape Bouna Thiaw, along with players Ismaïla Sarr and Iliman Ndiaye, were also heard and presented their defense before the disciplinary body. Following the hearings, the Disciplinary Jury deliberated on the case. Its decision is expected to be communicated within forty-eight hours, in line with the timetable set by the Jury's president.
