Moroccan internationals Achraf Hakimi and Ghizlane Chebbak have been named in the 2025 FIFPRO World 11, the prestigious lineup selected by the International Federation of Professional Footballers' Associations to honor the best players of the year. The two athletes proudly represent Morocco in this global selection recognizing outstanding football talent. Building on an exceptional season with Paris Saint-Germain, Hakimi was also shortlisted for the 2025 Ballon d'Or. On the women's side, Chebbak's inclusion marks a historic moment for Africa, as this is the first time the continent has double representation in the women's World 11, through Chebbak and Zambia's Barbra Banda. FIFPRO described this year's edition as a «historic milestone» for African football. The lineup was determined by votes from over 26,000 professional players across 68 countries, recognizing those who delivered exceptional performances throughout the season. The men's World 11 is notably dominated by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), which has five players featured, including Hakimi. Meanwhile, Lamine Yamal, the Moroccan-Spanish FC Barcelona player who represents Spain's national team, became the youngest player ever to make the World 11 at just 18 years old. FIFPRO noted that «he surpasses Kylian Mbappé's record from 2018, when the French star joined the team at 19». In total, the 2025 edition features ten newcomers across both the men's and women's teams: Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Pedri, Cole Palmer, Lamine Yamal, Ousmane Dembélé, Hannah Hampton, Ona Batlle, Ghizlane Chebbak, and Chloe Kelly.
