The Souss-Massa Regional Investment Center (CRI) brought together 50 Moroccan diaspora leaders to mark the 50th anniversary of the Green March through a development-focused initiative rooted in the region's growth. In partnership with the Gibran Foundation and the Souss Massa Promotion Cluster, the event is being held on November 4 and 5, 2025, in Agadir, gathering investors, entrepreneurs, executives, and experts to explore local opportunities and flagship projects, according to a press release. Organizers said the event is being held «under the banner of the Royal Vision and national pride», highlighting the economic role of Moroccans abroad as a driving force for inclusive and sustainable development. The initiative also aligns with the royal ambition to make Agadir «a true center of Morocco, a hub connecting the North, South, and East, driving territorial cohesion, economic growth, and international openness». According to the organizers, the «Investment March» embodies «the continuity of the spirit of the Green March by mobilizing the energies and skills of our diaspora in the service of national progress and prosperity». The program includes «economic meetings, experience sharing, and cultural activities», featuring themed panels, testimonials from diaspora investors, networking sessions, and site visits showcasing the region's industrial and tourism potential. The event is supported by the Souss Massa Regional Council, Tamwilcom, Maroc PME, SDR Tourisme, SDR TPME Touristique, Attijariwafa Bank, and several other regional institutions and economic actors.
