The Moroccan World Trophies Foundation (FTMM) held its tenth Economic Meeting on Friday in Amsterdam, focusing on the theme «How to Connect Moroccans in the Netherlands with Economic Opportunities in the Kingdom». The event attracted over a hundred members of the Moroccan diaspora and featured a notable delegation from Morocco, including representatives from the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), Tamwilcom, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), and several Moroccan banking institutions. This gathering served as a platform to showcase the support and investment mechanisms available to Moroccans worldwide, while also highlighting the economic opportunities the kingdom has to offer, according to the organizers' statement. Speaking at the event, Moroccan Ambassador to the Netherlands, Mohamed Basri, lauded the vital contribution of Moroccans abroad to the nation's economic growth. He also highlighted the efforts of diplomatic services to assist and guide community members interested in investing in Morocco. FTMM President Amine Saad, in his opening address, underscored «the importance of fully involving Moroccans around the world in the economic development momentum our country is experiencing». The meeting, moderated by Nora Achehbar, a former Dutch State Secretary of Moroccan descent, featured several members of the Moroccan community in the Netherlands who shared their investment projects in Morocco with the audience.
