DR ‹ › After visiting the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on Sunday during the Morocco–Tanzania (1–0) match, a delegation from the FBI visited Moulay Hassan Stadium on Tuesday to assess Morocco's security arrangements for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, during the Algeria–DR Congo (1–0) match. The delegation reviewed Morocco's security protocol from crowd arrival to stadium entry, including the deployment of rapid-response vehicles, surveillance cameras, drones, mounted police units, and explosive detection and anti-riot teams. This mission, conducted between January 4 and 6, forms part of an exchange of expertise ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the US this summer, and the 2030 World Cup, to be co-hosted by Morocco, Spain and Portugal. The US delegation is led by Douglas Olson, Director of Operations at the FBI's Field Intervention Services Division, and Kevin Kowalski, Deputy Director of the Emergency Response Group.
