DR ‹ › The Casablanca-Settat region is advancing its industrial prowess with a major partnership agreement to develop the Ouled Saleh Industrial Acceleration Zone (IAZ) in Nouaceur province, further cementing its status as a national industrial hub. The agreement was signed by key figures including the Minister of Industry and Trade, the Wali of the Casablanca-Settat region, the President of the Regional Council, the Provincial Governor of Nouaceur, the General Director of the Casablanca Urban Agency, the General Director of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Investment Center, and the Chairman of Al Omrane's Board. According to Al Omrane Group, this signing represents a unified institutional effort around a project of great strategic importance for the Nouaceur province. Covering 476 hectares, the forthcoming Ouled Saleh IAZ is poised to become Morocco's fourth-largest industrial zone. Strategically located near Mohammed V International Airport, the zone is well-connected by major highways, including the A1, which links Tangier to Safi via Rabat, Casablanca, and El Jadida, and the A3, which connects Casablanca to Agadir through Marrakech. The area benefits from a robust road network with easy access from the Bouskoura South interchange, via a dual carriageway leading to Victoria. It is accessible through the CFCIM industrial park, connecting to RR 310, and via the Victoria bypass road directly leading to RP 3036, which cuts through the heart of the project. This partnership is founded on a collaborative approach aimed at delivering substantial economic and social benefits, fostering job creation and wealth-generating activities, and providing industrial and logistical solutions tailored to the needs of both national and international investors.
